Tag # 4

The last tag.
Spencer Tracy won the best Actor Oscar for Boy's Town in 1939. His role was based on a very real Father Flanagan who worked with troubled boys
Gary Cooper In 1942, he won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance as the title character in Sergeant York. Alvin York refused to authorize a movie about his life unless Gary Cooper portrayed him.
John Wayne won the Award for Best Actor in True Grit in 1970. The role of Rooster Cogburn is considered one of John Wayne's best.

Vivian Leigh beat out over 30 other actresses for the role of Scarlett O'Hara in gone with the wind. Some of the actresses were Joan Crawford, Lucy Ball, and Mae West. Gone with the Wind was considered the best film of all time and won 10 academy awards. Vivian Leigh won best actress in 1940.
Jimmy Stewart won best actor for The Philadelphia Story in 1941. The movie won 6 awards. A funny movie, but award worthy? Not in my opinion
Joan Crawford won the award for best actress for Mildred Pierce in 1946. Bette Davis turned the role down.

3 more tags

Three more tags done. Clark Gable won best actor in 1935 for It Happened One Night. This film won 5 Oscars, including Claudette Colbert for best actress.
Humphrey Bogart won best actor for The African Queen in 1952. I always liked him acting with Lauren Bacall. Too bad they didn't cast her in the movie instead of Katherine Hepburn.
Lastly Ingrid Bergman won best actress for Gaslight. She also won the best actress Oscar for Anastasia in 1956 .

Your Brain is Blue
Of all the brain types, yours is the most mellow. You tend to be in a meditative state most of the time. You don't try to think away your troubles.Your thoughts are realistic, fresh, and honest. You truly see things as how they are.
You tend to spend a lot of time thinking about your friends, your surroundings, and your life.

3 tags done

My theme for my tags was Oscar winning actresses and actors. I picked old stars because they had the most interesting movies. My lst tag was Mary Pickford. She won the best actress for Coquette in 1930. She was born in Canada but was a pioneer in the move industry, being the first actress to make a million dollars a year. She was also a producer and produced several of her movies.
My 2nd tag is of Audrey Hepburn. She won the best actress for Roman Holiday in in 1953. It was one of her earlier movies.
My 3rd tag is Bette Davis. She won the Oscar for Jezebel in 1939. She was nominated for best actress eleven times and won twice. She won many other awards in her career.

Tag making

An escape from quilting. I joined an internet group called
The Artist Circle. The first project we are working on is a
tag book. The first step was to coffee stain our tags.
I then selected 3 tags and painted them with water colour paints.

Next I picked out 5 tags and painted them with Dollar Store Acrylic
Paints.

With my remaining 4 tags I used ink stamp pads (for stamping ) and stamped them. The next step will be the embellishing! That is going to be lots of fun.
